Tony has been selected for the American Composers Forum's New Voices program to compose an opera vignette based on The Decameron, a series of novellas by 14th century author Giovanni Boccaccio. It will premiere in November, 2010 at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater, performed by the International Opera Theater.

Network for New Music has commissioned Tony to write a new chamber work for Flute, Violin, and Violoncello to be premiered on their Trade Winds from Tibet concert on November 21, 2010 at the Ethical Society of Philadelphia.

War Wedding, for tenor and piano, won the University of Pennsylvania's Helen L. Weiss Award, for vocal compositions. The work was commissioned by American tenor, Justin Vickers.
